History
Straight from Spain Academy was founded in 2018 by Maria Vargas with the mission of providing personalized, intimate, and engaging language learning services. My team and I have established a high-quality language school that offers different programs and courses to meet the individual needs of each student’s learning goals and objectives. We employ highly qualified and dedicated tutors and our comprehensive curricula are designed to build students’ skills and self-confidence when communicating in Spanish in either an academic or professional setting.
Philosophy
We believe language encourages cultural appreciation, creativity… is a way to live better, live longer. It must be experienced in order to be really appreciated and understood. As we all know learning a language is not just done through a book, but through practicing, getting involved, reading, writing, speaking, and listening to the language in the real-world.
Courses
In order for students to succeed, our courses are structured into personalized and engaging classes in which students interact in a learning environment while mastering pronunciation, daily expressions, idioms, etc. Each class is focused in learning grammar with engaging exercises making sure that our students understand and apply this language skills outside and inside class. We also incorporate planned conversational group sessions. The best way to apply all the grammar, idiomatic expressions, vocabulary and pronunciation that our students learn is to become a member of our community. Straight From Spain Academy offers weekly CONVERSATION GROUP CLASSES, we are eager to make sure all our students evolved and feel confident when comes to speak in front of others, we are offering a safe space where you will be able to practiced and meet people that are in the same page as you, helping you to speak Spanish right away.

Special & Unique Straight from Spain Academy is unique because it is a women-owned and operated business where our team is friendly, professional, attentive and highly responsive. Our schedule is flexible, an our tutors are originally from Spain, however for those students that they just don’t want to learn “Castilian” we also count with a wonderful tutors from different Latin American countries. Be ready to become bilingual!
